Reddit does not lie. It may exaggerate, it may pile on, but the aggregate wisdom of 40,000+ active community members creates a signal that is hard to fake. We scraped, categorized, and analyzed every substantial Reddit thread about OopBuy from November 2024 through April 2026 to answer the question: is OopBuy legit according to Reddit?
Data Collection Methodology
We focused on two primary communities: r/FashionReps (general replica fashion) and r/RepBudgetSneakers (budget-focused discussion). We excluded posts under 10 comments to ensure meaningful engagement. We manually coded 340 top-level posts and 2,800+ comments into categories: praise, complaint, question, and neutral.
